Kenduri and such...

Saturday, 5-Sept-2020.

I guess all in all, we are quite lucky to still be able to ride during this PKP period.  And of course observing the SOPs is key and priority for us when we ride.  We would only choose to go to the non-viral makan places  where the crowd is still such that physical distancing can be maintained at all times.  Also, we would always choose to go to the green zones places, insyaAllah...

There was a bit of clash in activities for this weekend.  Firstly, the family has (yet again) planned a getaway to Kuala Kubu Baru and AjiKTM had invited us to his daughter's kenduri on this same day.  Taking advantage of the kenduri, my regular brunch riding buddies agreed to go for a short ride, have breakfast and proceed to AjiKTM's kenduri thereafter.  Of course, after the kenduri, I would be going to KKB for the family do.

At Our usual RV Point - RnR Dengkil, Elite Highway.

The usual riding mates - Mzac and Zack were already at the rv place when I got there at around 9.30am. Since the main agenda for today was to attend AjiKTM's daughter's wedding at USJ, Zack charted a very short ride for breakfast.  A place that I definitely had not been to before.  And Mzac also has not been.  And for today, ShamSRAD (although he is now on the GSA) will be joining us.  And he was the last to arrive... anyway, our destination was only about half an hour away...

The Place is called Warong Selekoh Kambing...

By 9.20am, we were already at the breakfast place in Jenderam Hulu.  This place offered very good variety of breakfast - can be a good place if we do not want to ride out far...

Got ubi, lempeng, lontong, nasi lemak, nasi goreng...

Probably this  kulit ayam is the shop's specialty... :-)

Setting the phone GPS to AjiKTM's house

sesat!!!! in USJ

The GPS took us a bit off... but luckily Zack has been to AjiKTM's home before... so, we arrived around noon, in time to meet up with old friends... some of whom we have not really met that often after the SBM Forum became out-of-fashion - overtaken by Facebook and WhatsApp...

Old acquaintances from the SBM Forum....

And that was that.....

Footnote:  The R1 was acting up a bit... jadi 3 silinder bak kata orang Malaysia... Few days later, to the workshop she goes (AjiKTM's bikeshop)...
